Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Use your hands to mix and massage the meat to ensure it absorbs the flavors.
Cover the bowl and let it marinate for 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
Heat a pan over high heat. Place the chicken on the pan, starting with the skin side down for frying.
Once the skin is golden brown, flip the chicken pieces. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Pour in the remaining marinade and a little water. Continue cooking until the chicken is tender, about 15 minutes. The sauce should also thicken.
Remove the chicken from the pan and slice it.
Serve the chicken over a bowl of steamed white rice. And voila! You can invite your friends to enjoy two bowls each, and maybe increase it to two kilograms the next day! Hahaha! 😝
