Approximately 600g mixed ground pork and beef (you can use only pork if preferred). In Italy, ground meat is often a blend of both as it is commonly used together.
Mix all the ingredients (except the gravy) together. Season to taste. If you want to check if it's seasoned properly, cook a small portion in a pan or microwave for 1 minute and taste. Just a taste, don't eat it all!
Cover the mixture and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Shape into bite-sized meatballs.
Heat a pan with a little oil and fry the meatballs until cooked through and golden brown.
Remove from the pan and pour hot gravy sauce over the meatballs.
Garnish with a sprig of parsley.
