PAN-SEARED CARROTS

 This is an easy and nutritious dish. If served Western-style, it’s a side dish; if served in the traditional way, it’s a stir-fried vegetable dish and suitable for vegetarians.
My family loves it. I find carrots to be kid-friendly because they are sweet. This time, after pan-searing the carrots, I added a few pieces of homemade Japanese furikake for extra flavor and visual appeal.

Nguyên liệu
  •  Peel the carrots and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  • Crush the garlic.
  • Japanese furikake (homemade recipe for Japanese furikake is here). 
Cách làm
  • Sauté the garlic in oil until fragrant.
  • Add the carrots and stir-fry until they are cooked through and slightly caramelized.
  • Turn off the heat.
  • Transfer to a plate.
  • Sprinkle furikake on top.
