It is difficult for me to say how the lunar new year is in Italy - where I am living; personally, I didn't feel a thing for the festive, because, looking around, there is no decoration, and no one has any clue that at this moment, in Asia, people are so much excited for the event just like Christmas in Europe :( Back in the past, sadly, I didn't have any chance to practice all the traditions; instead of making festive Vietnamese food and sending gifts to relatives and friends, I merely continued my work, but it couldn't stop my heart from pounding hard for the biggest event of the year when we can take an extended vacation, seeing all our dearest friends, playing cards for days, ... I always tell myself that I would love to keep my Vietnamese roots in Ferrara, though there is only me - the unique Vietnamese I've known. It is for me and our future kids; it would be so lame that my babies don't know anything about the Lunar new Year and our rituals. I have decided to make a New Year's eve dinner with my in-law family; I have already prepared red packets for our little nephews. :) And, of course, I'd like to wish all of you - who read, share, comment, and support my little corner here a new lucky year full of joys and happiness! :D Smoak!!
