FOCACCIA RECIPE - ITALIAN BREAD

FOCACCIA RECIPE - ITALIAN BREAD

Giới thiệu

With only water, flour, and yeast with different ratios, we have many types of breads. Focaccia is a type of bread that is so tasty with its pack of olive oil flavor and light weight texture. It is very convenient for picnics or lazy lunches. 😏

Nguyên liệu
  • 700 gram of flour.
  • 450 gram of water.
  • 40 gram of extra virgin olive oil.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • 15 gram of fresh yeast
  • Some oregano
Cách làm
  • Mix flour with water. Olive oil and salt together knead well for 15 minutes.
  • Add yeast and continue to knead for another 5 minutes.
  • Cover the dough. And let it rest for around 2 hours or until the dough rises double.
  • Press the dough to release the air. Knead it for 2 minutes.
  • Roll the dough. To the thickness of around. 2 to 3 centimeters. Put it in a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Pour some olive oil on top and sprinkle some oregano

  • Let it rest for around half an hour or until it dries around 70%.
  • Repair the oven to the maximum heat
  • Bake the focaccia for around 30 minutes. Control the focaccia. If it is brown, little bit golden, then it's ready. A normal Italian focaccia could have a lighter color than mine.
  • Let it cool, and serve.
  • In Italy, people usually use oregano or Rosemary to add flavor to the focaccia. So if you want an authentic focaccia, I recommend using these two flavors.
  • People often eat focaccia like bread, so sometimes they put some cold cuts inside. You can find different types of focaccias in the bar anywhere, on any corner in Italy.
  • I hope you enjoyed the recipe. Have fun in your kitchen.
